Google Launches Open Beta Testing For Play Games Store

The Play Games store is a new digital marketplace that will allow Android gamers to buy and download games. The store will feature both paid and free games, as well as in-app purchases.

Google launches open beta testing for Play Games store is out. The new store will let developers sell their Android games directly to users instead of going through Google's usual channels. The move is seen as a way for Google to better compete with Apple's App Store and the upcoming Windows Phone Store.

This store will allow users to play Android games on their PCs. The store is currently available in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and South Korea and will be expanding to other regions in the near future. 12 games are currently available in the store, including Asphalt 9, Gardenscapes, and Homescapes. 

Google has promised to expand this list in the future. All games on the store will have progress synchronization with mobile devices and laptops running Chrome OS.
