Mr. Fantastic Joins Marvel Rivals: Unleashing Stretchy Mayhem on the Battlefield

Reed Richards is gearing up to make a significant impact in Marvel Rivals. Alongside his fellow Fantastic Four teammates, he will make his debut in the game on January 10th. The recently released trailer showcases Richards, also known as Mr. Fantastic, taking on the role of a Duelist, a designation reserved for characters who excel in dealing damage.

Richards' abilities stem from his unique stretching power, enabling him to strike opponents from a considerable distance with his fists. He can also use his right click to ensnare foes, tossing them into one another, which results in a satisfying double damage effect.

Using his left-shift ability, Richards transforms into a larger version of himself, granting him the capacity to deflect incoming projectiles, including powerful ultimate abilities like Iron Man's maximum pulse. In the trailer, viewers can spot a meter located beneath his crosshair. Once this meter is filled, it triggers a remarkable transformation reminiscent of a Hulk-out moment, during which he enlarges further, inflicting increased damage and receiving a boost of temporary health. His E ability complements this by propelling him directly into the chaos of battle.

Lastly, Richards' ultimate ability allows him to ascend skyward before crashing down with massive fists. This move bears a resemblance to Winter Soldier's ultimate but provides the advantage of executing multiple hits immediately without the requirement of defeating an opponent in between strikes.
