However, indications from Midori, a well-known source for leaks related to Sega and Atlus, suggest that an update on "Sonic X Shadow Generations" may be on the horizon. Midori hinted on Twitter that Sega is poised to share news about the game soon. With major events like the Xbox Games Showcase and Summer Game Fest approaching and rumors of an upcoming PlayStation event, it's expected that Sega will unveil more about the game shortly, possibly even a specific release date, especially as the game is slated for a Fall release on PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, and PC.
